In room 21 my friend Ruby and I have given the class a challenge. Everyone must bring an egg to school and make it a home. Ruby and I have written everyone's names up on the board and if your egg cracks we rub it off. It has been a crazy start but some of us have survived, We think this is a fun challenge for all of us. Ruby and I set this challenge for the class so we can learn more about being responsible for our things. I know that is hard for me I am not good at keeping my stuff safe. The winner of this challenge gets a prize from Ruby and me. It is going to be great.

week 8

this week I did another inquiry it was called Questions about the body. Also I for reading I have been doing read theory and reading the eagle in the snow. I have really enjoyed literacy we have been doing a prezi about sir Edmund Hillary. For Kapa Haka, we have been learning a new song and the actions to the national anthem. I have not been enjoying PE cause I have a broken thumb from softball. my favourite part of this week has been inquiry my inquiries and others I have learnt a lot from them. For maths, we have been doing maths buddy and rich tasks. this week has been great.

week 7

This week has been great I have learnt lots about Anne Frank. For maths, I have been doing maths buddy and learnt how to do area. For writing, we had to write a scary story so I wrote One called Johnny and I have been learning where to put full stops and capitals. My favourite thing we have been doing at school is inquiry I have done 6 inquiries about the body, gravity, space, softball, populated pets and pollution. This morning I had hockey trials it was a lot of fun but cold. I have been enjoying PE, literacy, math,  inquiry and music. This week was AWESOME!!!      

Week 6

This week we have been learning Te Reo. I learnt how to say cash me outside. For maths, I have learnt descending numbers and ascending numbers. I have really enjoyed technology with Mrs Houghton. We have finally finished our LED lights and now we are with Mr Cotterill. I can't wait for this technology with Mr Cotterill. I also have gotten into the super six touch for the school I am very excited. For inquiry, My friend Ruby explained that if we don't stop eating meat we will have no chickens, cows, sheep and much more. Also, My friend Emma named some animals that are going to die because of global warming. I have had a great week.       

My L.E. needed to be portable, durable and bright. I used a 9 volt battery and corflute folded into a triangle to protect the circuit.

Week 5

This week for maths I learnt how to do decimals and factors. Also, I learnt how to solder in technology. I really enjoyed Inquiry we have been learning about Turangawaewae and learned about what cause gravity. I am doing music tomorrow but I have been doing guitar lessons and have learned a song called 8 days a week by the Beatles. Today we did Te Reo Maori it was lots of fun. I have also got some learning goals for maths, writing, and PE. For PE, I have to relax when I am throwing for maths I have to work on decimals and factors which I have done and for writing, I must work on full stops and capital letters. This week was great.
